SGLC Membership Fee

This is the one-off membership fee that new members must pay to join SGLC. By paying this fee you acknowledge that you accept our membership terms, which are:

• You must be 18 years or older, and

• You will provide us your name, phone number and email address, and

• You agree to abide by the rules of the club, including our Constitution and Code of Ethics (as published on our website www.sglc.rocks)

On paying this membership fee you become a full member of the club and are then able to participate in all our club activities, including attending our field trips and receiving our club newsletter.

Only paid up members of our club (or other affiliated NZ rock & mineral clubs) may attend our field trips.

We only charge adults to be a member of our club.

Members are welcome to bring their children along to club activities, including most field trips, at not extra cost.

This fee covers membership from the date of payment up till the end of the club's current financial year, which is 31 March.

Thereafter, if you wish to remain a member of SGLC, which of course we hope you do, members may pay an annual subscription fee, as set at the AGM (which is usually in  held in May or June each year), by direct credit to our bank account.

The SGLC Membership Fee is non-refundable.

The SGLC Membership Fee is a one-off payment. Paying for it does not commit you to any further payments to SGLC.
